New
interior doors can transform a room. Many door frames can be out of line and can
make the job of fitting a new door very difficult. I can fit just about any type
of door. Including new handles, locks etc. Average cost is £30.00
Laminate
flooring is a great idea for busy people. Very easy to keep clean and resists
most dirt and staining. Real oak flooring is better and does not cost very much
more than laminate. I can fit both types and I can usually complete a room
in a couple of hours.!
When
a room is to be divided into two or more, it is normal practice to construct
"stud partition" walls. The partition is then lined with plasterboard and
finally skimmed with plaster. Being a skilled carpenter and plasterer, I can
usually erect and plaster a wall 8ft X 12ft in less than two days.
Fencing
panels or even close-board fencing, I can erect a fence that will stand the test
of time. Whilst being a great deal cheaper than block or brick walls, they can
be erected very quickly, and with treatment sprayers now so readily available
for less than £30 they can be very easy to maintain.
